Bereavement Support Funding

Lync to the Stars is proud to work alongside Memories Funeral Directors — and other trusted local funeral directors — within our community. Their support means so much to our family. Our partnership began after Simon and his team cared for Lync and our family with such dignity and compassion, an experience that inspired us to work alongside them in supporting other families.

Whilst they provide children’s funerals with care and sensitivity, we understand that families may still wish to include personal touches such as flowers or a special order of service.

No one should ever have to face the heartbreak of arranging a child’s funeral alone. During such an unimaginable time, financial worries should be the last thing on a family’s mind. Our aim is to ease that burden by offering support towards funeral costs — helping families focus on honouring their child’s memory and navigating the journey of grief without the added stress of financial pressure.

Counselling

As a close family, the loss of our child impacted us in ways that cannot be put into words. Beyond the adults, Lync had a close circle of children in his life — his cousins and, most importantly, his brothers, Crew and Nate. At such a young age, they couldn’t fully understand what had happened, yet they felt that loss deeply. Counselling has been an important part of helping them express and navigate emotions no child should ever have to face. This is why we are committed to providing the same support for other siblings and children who are coping with the loss of someone they love.

Our future aim is to create an independent and trusted counselling service where families can find comfort, understanding, and support. We want to provide a safe and welcoming space for those affected by loss — a place where they can talk openly, be heard, and know they are not alone. Through compassionate listening and genuine care, we hope to offer families a steady source of support during the most difficult times.
